Black Cat Superfuzz

Black Cat Superfuzz

The Super Fuzz is Black Cat's copy of the Univox Fuzz of the 60's and 70's. An exact copy all the way down to the grind and buzz. If you want a fuzz that sounds great and is a bargain at this price. Housed in a 4 3/8 x 3 3/8 cast aluminum box, it gives a classic octave double-fuzz sound. It features controls for volume, balance between fuzz and octave sounds, and toggle switch to select output wave forms. True by-pass, 2.1 mm jack for AC.

  • i purchased the black cat superfuzz for 0 and it was worth ever penny. i play bass and it is the best fuzz pedal i've heard for bass yet. it maintains the quality of the lows instead of shaving them off and sounding thin as most fuzz pedals do.
  • Good Points: the box itself is very durable. it sounds amazing following my EH bass synth in the signal chain. it has a very punchy buzzsaw type of sound.
  • Bad Points: the circuit board inside the box just sort of moves around as it is not screwd down to anything. it doesn't move much and doesn't seem like it will be damaged, especially if you keep it on a pedal board and take care of your equipment.
