  • This is a great pedal for some analog noise. If you cannot afford a roland space echo or WEM copycat or something like that this is an effective option. 9v standard DC. Single input and stereo output. The controls are level/lo-fi/repeats with a switch for tube/solid-state and to turn off "Warble" which is tape imperfections and flutter. Of course the unique horizontal slider is a nice feature. You can get very clean single repeats up to total sonic mess at various speeds. Overall this pedal made it straight to my live setup. It is HUGE though which is a negative. The Sound on Sound is pretty self explanatory but not as fun as sliding down between 0-5ms on infinite repeat!
  • Good Points: Sounds warm and authentic. Stereo Out. Good Range. Cheap alternative to tape heads.
  • Bad Points: HUGE. Shitty footswitches.

  • I really didnŽ´t know what to expect when I bought this piece. I have never really worked with reel echoes before, but I can asure you that I am totally saticfied with this one. It sounds really good! I use it to create a bass-rhytm and in the sound on sound-state create other noises over that. I like the tube-simulator and the warble-function. It sounds very simular with a "real" reel echo, but you donŽ´t have the problems with tapes and stuff. The sound can be clean if you want to, but I prefer the dirty sound, wich can be even more dirty and "original" with the Lo-Fi knob. It is very easy to work with and it looks cool in itŽ´s 50th type of design.
  • Good Points: Great sound, easy to work with, genuine built, no problems with tapes/engines and it is quite cheap.
  • Bad Points: CanŽ´t tell you anything bad about this. Maybe that it isnŽ´t a "real" reel echo with a tape and so. But I see that as a good thing...
