- This pedal rules. Because of this pedal i became a delay addict and i love it to death. this pedal is very good for making those fast cool noises with the built in looper which i enjoying doing a lot of.

- Recently obtained this through a friend. Damn, I waited too long to get one of these. Now I wished I could have gotten one much sooner. 2 seconds of delay time gives you plenty of room to play around with. I love the fact that the delay range is selected using a slider switch versus a knob, which allows for much quick time selections compared to a knob. I love how you can mix the wet signal with the dry signal as well. The level is like typical dod digital delay pedals, wished it was slightly louder. Making loops and layering them is definately useful and can be easily done using the pds1002

- This thing's ace-I love it. The best aspect of the pedal is the fact that the loops, once created, can be layered exponentially to create some madass sounds. For example, once the loop is created, by turning the delay time up or down you can create a low, thundering burble with regular sonics on top, or a regular speed part with megaspeed parts on top, A.N. style! The delay sound itself is not harsh, in fact I found it quite pleasant. Responds well to distortion as well-you can really heap it on and it still functions excellently.

- Bad Points: 1. Switches are very fragile 2. so is the battery compartment(it's on the front) 3. Uses weird power thing(I'm in the UK and mine broke)

- Yet another of the Digitech double-sized delay pedal, similar in layout to the PDS 8000, but w/o the sampler. Delay times are selectable via a small slider-style switch from 125ms to 2sec. Knobs control delay time, regeneration, mix of wet and dry signal, and controls for input and output level. I rarely use it as a straight delay, mainly for the infinite repeat feature (as with my other PDS pedals) which gives an unending loop as long as the repeat hold switch is engaged. While a loop is running you can adjust the delay time to either speed it up or slow it down, as has been stated repeatedly w/ the DOD Digitech delays just indespensible when grabbing a loop w/ the delay time high then cranking it down for huge bass rumbles (works even better for this if you follow it w/ a distortion pedal.). My only real complaint would be the excessive # of controls for the mixer section, the PDS 20/20 only has one mix control (wet/dry signal) and replaces the in/out level w/ a modulation section, which is something that could have been done here as well.
- Good Points: Infinite repeat mode alone makes this an absolute necessity, well constructed
- Bad Points: Three controls dedicated to tweaking wet/dry signal mix, PDS 20/20 only has one, which is enough

- This thing is a beast, an essential part of our pedal setup. You can rock hefty 2 second noise loops, adjust pitch while adding new snippets in with a quick flutter of the sample pedal. Voila, instant NON. The dry out functions as a weak input. It sounds nice as a delay, but I mainly use it for the sampling. Of course, the residual delay from stopping a loop will give you some cover up time while recording a new loop!
- Good Points: Almost everything about this mofo boy is awesome. Rugged DOD-style construction.
- Bad Points: Loss of sample/delay effect when changing sample/delay length. A little learning curve, but spend a little time with it and you'll love it.
