- it's an o.k equalizer, i prefer bass ones more myself, and i fat fingers which means my digits get too close to other sliders and sometimes i end up moving them by accident. i have othe equalizers that have looser faders, and arn't so cheap...
- Good Points: equalizers are a necessity for the noise, they really do so much...but i prefer bass ones
- Bad Points: sliders a little tough, too close togther and cheap! i have two broken ones and i'm not abusing my pedals too much

- very good tone shaping from this pedal, sounds fine in noise. haven't heard the boss eq in action, but it's probably not as good a value as this (and the bands are too close together to switch quickly on that anyway). no boosts or cuts are overly bothersome. overall worth the money and provides a good handle on your sound to compensate for pa or early in your chain to shape sounds quickly. as with most/all dods, the construction is excellent, but the battery cover is very flimsy and tends to fall off a lot. still, no reason not to pick this up if it's under 50 bucks.
- Good Points: -easy to use -bands aren't cramped together -quality tone shaping -good value
- Bad Points: -hard to hear unless put in the right place (experimentation is necessary) -shitty battery cover

- Just picked this up on Ebay and have found it indispensible for noise! As other post-ers have mentioned, it can be used as a primary boost (+18db) or the 7 different freq can be tweaked. The freq are: 100/200/400/800/1600/3200/6400Hz. Couple this with a DOD FX42-B (bass eq) for some MAJOR equalization. THis is a must have for noise chains!
- Good Points: sturdy DOD construction, 18db level boost/cut, 7 bands to tweak, couple with bass eq for a full spectrum equalizer
- Bad Points: sliders can be a little fragile

- I've got three of these, so I can have one in most/all feedback loops. Very useful for subtle tone shaping, or more interesting, for perverting unstable line loops. Being able to cut/boost freq bands tends to have interesting effects on feedback. I've got a yamaha eq and a older dod eq, but these provide more boost, an d somewhat better feeling sliders.
- Good Points: indispensable in feedback loops, can be used as a pure boost if need be, strong boost/cut range, they tend to sell pretty cheap too

- I used this seldom with my equipment, what it's original intent was for me was to simulate a wah pedal set at a certain angle with no need to play with the pedal during live application. Later on I used it for overdrive, just jacking up all the EQ.
- Good Points: Wide range of EQ, funny tones when set to the extremes.
- Bad Points: some of the slider knobs came off, you could still adjust the pedal though. Needs to be more rugged.

- as said before, simple. will add a little boost to signals that need it, which is good for contact mics and sample that are a bit more quiet than you harsh ways desire.
- Good Points: affordable, solid, cant really go wrong.

- Simple eq, does basically what it's supposed to.
- Good Points: Has level slider which is great for fade ins. Also each has a midpoint 'click' so you know when you leveled it off without using your eyes to judge where the slider is at 0.
- Bad Points: none. it's just an eq after all.

- An equaliser none the less. It works like a booster/distortion in a chain of effects as well as an equaliser where you can play around quite a lot. I own 2 of these and they are good to have even though I at least donÃÕ think of this as an effect pedal. It is more a basic must have like cords and a mixer to me.
