  • This pedal is based off the similar idea of the original Session Man, combine distortion and another effect to create an all-in-one pedal. This one combines distortion and delay! This pedal has quickly become one of my most used pedals. I'll put this in a feedback loop from a stereo chorus, aflanger, or a phasor into this pedal into a bass eq then into another distortion pedal back into the source pedal. The ensuing chirps and buzzes are ridiculous! Like the Session Man, this pedal has a seri(series) or para.(parallel) mode. In the series it goes delay, then distortion. You have knobs for distortion lvl, distortion tone, and amount of distotion. Plus a knob for delay lvl. under the footswitch(where the battery goes)is also a hole, with trimmers that can be adjusted, with a philips head screwdriver! these affect the rate of delay and the repeats of delay. When i have this in the loop, if i turn the delay level knob up the feedback loop feels like it's sucking you up into the sky, but if you turn it back down some unholy creature from a place lower then hell, pulls you right back down, and at the same time i have my faders on my eq all the way down and i'll begin to randomly pick faders to fade up and down quickly giving the sound a a motion all it's own! Also like the original session man, this thing has some massive gain, if you put this pedal at the end of your chain, it'll boost your signal significantly.
  • Good Points: there certainly are better distortions, but the combo can't be beat i have my repeats minimized, and my delay maximized, i bought this pedal used so i didn't get a manual on this pedal, or else i'd tell you the exact delay ratio. It's not the longest, but it's pretty decent.
  • Bad Points: Though i've never had a problem, i've never liked the plstic stomp switch
