Vox Wah-Wah V847

Vox Wah-Wah V847

It takes tones and twists them from bottom heavy to nastily nasal with each swipe of your foot. Not a wimpy simulation . . . this is the real thing!

  • It's a classic, the reissue that is sold, in clean sounds very good, but not good with some fuzz pedal. You need to modify.
  • Good Points: Sound clear is good.
  • Bad Points: -Whith fuzz , the sound is bad ,enters a lot of noise. -Need another potenciomether.

  • I my rig is pretty much full of things related to 60's psychedelic so of course i need a wah. I modded this with a louder output and true by- pass. It creates great soundscapes when there are quiet moments in songs but allow for what sounds like frequency bending when my other pedals are up and the face of guitar is shoved into the amp. When done rapidly enough it sounds like a abstract phaser. It adds a nice layer of outer space to the noise.
  • Good Points: - well built - great control
  • Bad Points: - factory sound is a little weak needs to be boosted for higher volume - no true by-pass either unless modded
