  • If I was trying to mix a band for recording, this thing would probably drive me nuts. As it is, I'm trying to make, tame, and explode noise so it's perfect. The multiple outs and the AUX send combined with the channel EQs mean that this mixer is basically an noise instrument on its own.
  • Good Points: Great for generating feedback loops, small and light, cheap as can be.
  • Bad Points: Construction quality is a direct reflection of the price. Sound quality is the same, though fine for noise music.
  • Price Paid: US$45.00

  • Great for mutli loop feedback.Return an effect pedal output to a channel input then use that signal as Aux noise to feedback on and with all other inputs. This and many other basic feedback loops can be had using Aux send/return and the headphone, tape, & master outputs.
  • Good Points: Small.Light.Cheap.
  • Bad Points: No XLR outputs!Power supply is too damn big!Cheap components.KNOW THIS:these are not pro audio and they sound like shit.
  • Price Paid: US$50.00

  • I got mine about a year ago and used it on all of the recordings I've done. Purchased it because of the price and size. 4 channels (or 6) are way enough to create some noise-blasts in the studio. The fx-routing is just great to manipulate all channels at a time. I never used the AUX and tape ins and outs, so no comment on them. The construction is very lightweight but it does appear to be quite sturdy though.
  • Good Points: - cheap - small and lightweight - loads of features and routing options
  • Bad Points: - sometimes the channels bleed through a little

  • Great for the price. Only one AUX send. (you can route the headphone to a spare channel also...) I blew mine up. Just ZAP then no more...?! I'll get another one for sure. Know if they'd only make one with 5 AUX sends.

  • I purchased this solely for the No Fun Fest this year. It's VERY cheap and lightweight. It's worth every penny and them some.
  • Good Points: Portable, lightweight, doesn't have the old style power cord which weighed a ton, smooth knobs.
  • Bad Points: Sometimes when you have volume of a particular channel, you can still hear a little bleedthrough, not a big deal really. The fact that it's small and portable making turning knobs a pain if you have large hands.

  • behringer makes ok stuff but these mixers are great. compact, cheap and they get the job done. i have heard many complain about how crappy these mixers are but i would say this is probably the best one i have owned in the past 15 years.
  • Good Points: sturdy, light, small, isn't as bad as some would have you beleive.
  • Bad Points: the aux buss can get quite loud, like louder than the channels you are running through it.

  • The first mixer I've bought. Very cheap used but very effective nonetheless. The three eq bands give good control, as does gain knobs on the two mono channels. The effects send is essental for signal manipulation of multiple channels at the same time and it is great to see this feature on such a small mixer. Add to that the RCA in and outs and the Headphone jack with its own indipendent volume control and you have a great little mixer.
  • Good Points: The fx send and just about every other feature taken into account of its small size and ridiculously good price.
  • Bad Points: No channel mutes. Metering is sometimes innacurate.

  • This is the perfect noisician's mixer. With such a low price, it's amazing the features it has; like three-band eq for each channel, rca ins/outs, additional mono out, and stereo aux returns. The metering isn't generous but plenty sufficient.
  • Good Points: very affordable, compact, all the features and extra jacks, tweak-friendly, built well, power supply is nice two-prong at the end
  • Bad Points: channel mutes would've been cool to suddenly punch some noise in or out
  • Price Paid: US$60.00

  • the perfect sized mixer...since table space sometimes becomes very small at times, especially for you pedal lovers out there. the sound quality is what you come to expect from a company like behringer. the eq section is strong and has a good range for all of ones needs. the only mixer i use...
  • Good Points: cheap and high quality...
  • Bad Points: maybe some line mutes, but its size wouldnt probably have allowed for the feature...

  • The noise mixer of choice due to its compact size and low cost. Billed as a 6 channel mixer it gives two mono inputs w/ both 1/4" and XLR and two channels w/ 1/4" stereo ins. Three band EQ (hi, mid, lo), auxilary send/return (effects loop), tape in/out (RCA-style jacks), main and control room stereo outs, and a headphone jack w/ its own volume control. Plenty of routing options for either just straight mixing of different sound sources, or creating multiple pedal feedback loops. I ditched my 8 channel Mackie for the Behringer a couple of years ago and couldn't be happier.
  • Good Points: Compact, inexpensive, 3-band EQ, effects loop
  • Bad Points: may not be adequate for those wanting to mix several stereo signals
