  • I found this little big ugly pedal on Ebay, ofcourse .... I have many distortion pedals - you might call me collector. When I first saw this thing I was struck by how ugly it looks, at least side by side to new Boss or a Fulltone. It had a missing spring, dust etc - so I first cleaned it up and took it apart (like I always do with vintage pedals - I need to know whats inside) - Then I connected it to my test pedalboard with a bunch of pedals (OS-2, MD-2, LM-2, CE-2, OD-1, DG-Stomp). After playing straight for about an hour I fell in love - what a treasure! It has so many sounds in it - it made all other pedals disapear. It can be a clean boost - a total freaky Fuzz and anything in between. The tone pot works totally different in the two modes it offers and the distortion goes from zero to bad ass. So this is the nicest and most ugliest pedal in my collection and it's goin to be on my main pedalboard. Maybe I ad true bypass later but for now it's goin to be switched out of the signal by my looper. There's no info who made it other than it's made in Japan. Almost no info online as well! Does anybody know more about this? And I know this side is about noize and such - this thing can kick any Fuzz box in the ,,,, distroy your audio or make music with it.
  • Good Points:
  • Bad Points: A can detect a very tiny amount of "bad" breakup in the lower string register when used as a overdrive/clean booster. Not a big deal and there might be a mod for it .... and did I mention it's real ugly?
