  • Not a big fan of plastic pedals, but this is a solid plastic, and not sure what the 1st guy is talking about, must be new to distortion pedals. But it's a really great dist for like 80's Metal.
  • Good Points: With a little experimenting, this is a great sounding pedal. I play an RGT42DXFM thru a Marshall Half Stack and this pedal sounds great cranked! Very reliable. This pedal is becoming very hard to find.
  • Bad Points: Plastic, but hard plastic.

  • it's a fun and easy bend. the pedal itself is useless and sucks. not very much gain and it's not very loud, and the overdrive built into a small Fender practice amp sounds better. HOWEVER, that said, if you have an inch of wire, you can solder two points together on the PCB to trick the pedal into thinking there's something plugged into the input jack when nothing is there. then you can just turn it on and rub your thumbs over the contacts on the back and it's square wave mayhem. if you want to bend a pedal, i wouldn't say this is worth any more than .
  • Good Points: - makes a really great, cheap bend
  • Bad Points: - worthless as a pedal itself

  • This was my very first distortion pedal ... back when I was first learning to play guitar well over a decade ago.
  • Good Points: Definitely can be used as a noise generator, especially for screechy, high pitched feedback and 'broken-sounding' distortion (when cascaded with other dirt or amp distortion).
  • Bad Points: Very harsh, fizzy and tinny tone with too much upper mid emphasis and not enough "thump" for my taste on its own (with guitar).
