  • i havent experienced any of the problems the other reviewers have had, in fact this box is a blessing...way better than the dod pos, not offering better possibilities, but with a better internal build. so your switch wont crap out on you during a set or whatever more embarassing situation. you get channel a or b or both, and it can be turned around for reverse aplications. and oh yeah, indicator lights...eat that dod box...a way better bang for the buck...
  • Good Points: sturdy build does what its supposed to with out dying...
  • Bad Points: none...

  • It's a basic A/B/Y-Box. You either put one signal in and can choose whether it is send to output a, b or both. The other way round, you can send two signals into one input. In my early days when I had nothing but a POD, a guitar and an amp to make noise, I used this box to get over the swithing latency of the POD. My box isn't really reliable. When you don't hit the right switch hard enough, it won't let all your signal through. Also when the POD was on some high gain setting and I switch over to the clean channel, I got a major buzzing from the POD. So I figure the box doesn't switch the signal completely. Very annoying.
  • Good Points: Put a battery in it, and the LEDs work for years.
  • Bad Points: Doesn't always switch very well Doesn't switch completely Fails to do what it's supposed to properly, try something else instead

  • An ABY box that does what it promises, but with a noticeable loss of signal strength (with a guitar at least). Signal loss seems most pronounced when using effects chains and only one channel (A or B) is engaged. When both channels are engaged, this box lets your entire signal comes through at full strength, and sounds good; but shouldn't it, after all? Useful for turning a 1-channel amp with 2 inputs into a 2 channel amp. Also useful for switching between two amps or two instruments. But the loss of signal strength is a major drawback.
  • Good Points: Solidly built of metal. Switches are well placed. Handy LEDs.
  • Bad Points: 1) Weakens signal when using only A or B channel. 2) It's necessary to remove 4 screws to replace the battery.
