  • I guess you could call this thing a starter synth. Whatever you want to call it, it is great for noise.
  • Good Points: The first time I used this thing (demoing it in Guitar Center) the staff asked me to turn it down because I was hurting their ears. The most obvious reason to use this for noise is the ability to generate white noise from it that can be tweaked with the filter for a "tighter" fuzz. The ring modulator feature can create some nice clangy tones when one osc has a lower pitch than the other. The supersaw waveform is impressive. "random" lfo shapes allows for the tone to change without order. With the help of a RCA to 1/4th inch cable, you can create a wonderful feedback loop with this thing. Just plug the RCA into the into and the 1/4th into the headphones and you will have a feedback loop that you can tweak around with the various filters. Add a pedal into that feedback loop and wait for the chaos to come.
  • Bad Points: Kind of expensive, but cheaper than other synths. Kind of odd shape hard to find a case for it. Random LFO kind sound kind of cartoony.
  • Price Paid: US$600.00
