I bought this at the same time as the Black Dog and both are quite similar in sound, nice overdrive/soft distortion with a wide range on the tone knob. It can go from howling and brutal to subtle with the crank of a knob. The snarl/bite switch seems to be a boost, doesn't change the sound too much but I notice a bit more distortion with it in 'bite' mode. There's also a tone bypass switch on the side which does just as it suggests, bypasses the tone knob - great for shifting the sound, and I've yet to see another pedal with this feature.
Good Points: Great for adding a little warmth and thickness to a weak signal/output and brutalizing quiet sound sources. Oh yeah, the knobs go to '12'.
Bad Points: I can't find a thing wrong with it for the price.
