  • this was my first distortion pedal and infact i am still using it, infact this is the second one i've owned as i killed the first. i love the sound, on more conservative settings the pedal has an ok sounding 60's style distortion, THIS IS NOT A METAL PEDAL. i use this pedal with probably more reverb than any man needs and then let the pedal go, playing through a peavey half valve half solid state i found it would feed back straight away with the distortion set to max and the level even or slightly higher than the clean channel. there is some noise but thats ok its just adding to the mayhem. it can also be used as a decent clean boost pedal. for less than Ž£20 its a nasty little shit that should be at least tried out before being rejected... you never know...
  • Good Points: simplest layout ever, cheap, filthy
  • Bad Points: pink, cheap, not as much punch as higher end distortion, but then its half the price
  • Price Paid: US$30.00

  • As much as I hate to give a review like this, this is a terrible little pedal. The distortion leaves much to be desired- not much high or low, and the tone is very flat. I would advertise this more as an overdrive pedal.. if heavy distortion is dirty, this pedal is lightly dusty at best. Don't pay more than - for this one.
  • Good Points: - Better than a sharp stick in the eye, I suppose. - Dist. does at least make a noticeable difference, even if not much.
  • Bad Points: - distortion tone is very flat and lackluster - no highs or lows, just a very light mid
