  • I have 2 of these, one USA and one China. Apart from the colour of the PCB and caps they're the same circuit with SMD components. Its pretty much a tube screamer clone, thogh with 2 tone controls. It can add a bit of grit but cascading 2 of the together you can get quite a fuzzed out tone. It can be bass heavy and the treble doesn't go too far into brittle territory. Not the best thing for noise but a decent pedal none the less.
  • Good Points: The best thing about this is the Mixer out is great for line balancing guitar signals even when switched off. Thats why I have 2 for stereo operation.
  • Bad Points: No bad points for its intended use, its just not a noise makers delight. It can't really be modded except for changing the tone control caps.

  • Pretty useless to me, bought it at sight for cheap and sold it within a week. Only useful as a booster since it is very loud. It does have a pretty warm sound to it, though, so if you are after tube warmth and find it dirt cheap, then get it.
