- Picked this up pretty cheaply without knowing what to expect but it's filthy in a broken up, bass heavy kind of a way. This twinned with a high gain distortion pedal into a large bass rig would be fairly amazing I'd imagine.
- Good Points: Filthy, broken down bass goodness
- Bad Points: Not many, although it seems to be getting hard to pick these up at a decent price. Knob labelling is silly, bit not a problem as such.

- This pedal can do some interesting stuff in a feedback loop... More than the typical high-pitched tone... It seems to have less volume and punch than the standard Grunge, but it may just be my unit (I bought it with the understanding that it needed repairs--yet it seems to work flawlessly--the ebay sales page claimed it picked up radio signals, which it doesn't for me). The stupid labeling on this particular pedal can actually be kind of confusing without the manual! It seems the volume knob is on the right end of the knob array, and the left knob is a blend (blending the wet and dry output signal). From what I can tell, the "Zip" and "Stupid" (ha) knobs are the high/low EQ...
- Good Points: An interesting pedal that can do some cool stuff in a feedback loop. The dual outputs come in handy for making a loop.
- Bad Points: Seems to lack the volume of the standard Grunge (though this could be a result of my not owning a bass amp or PA) The dumb controls names are no help if you try to understand them with no manual, and only having previous experience with the standard Grunge controls. COLLECTOR SCUM!

- I got it for a steal and I use it for my guitar, tuned CGCFAD. If you don't play it with the Blend and Gain knobs cranked, you get this sound that is clean in the middle, hairy around the edges. It's designed to keep the low end clean on basses, so that's understandable.
- Good Points: Nice Clean/Dirty Blend sound
- Bad Points: See review above. cheap hardware on the old DOD pedals; switches, battery covers, etc.

- About the same gain as the FX58 Metal Maniac, and it seems somewhat similar. This has more low end, the Metal Maniac has more high end, but other than that I'd venture to say they're comparable in timbre.
- Good Points: More low end sound, also a nice muddy sound to it.
- Bad Points: Not as crisp as the Metal Maniac. Less high end sound.

- heavy, especially when coupled with the metal x or corrosion pedals, it gives so much more power and distortion. very great low end rumble without eating all your highs, i pretty much leave this one cranked. great for blasting your way a little more through...

- This thing is disgusting! Sputtering, screaming distortion with lots of low end but good, sharp high end too. I've used this a lot with a contact mic plugged into it to destroy the sound and generate some insane, choppy and squealing feedback. Much better than the more common guitar version.
- Good Points: See review -- much better than the FX69.
- Bad Points: Pretty hard to find, and sometimes draws collector geeks on auctions, so they sometimes get expensive. Took me awhile to find one at a low price.

- This pedal is one of the noisiest I have ever heard. It is great with a bass or synthesizer or anything else. The only problem is that DOD pedals are very cheaply made. Which is why they dont cost very much. I have never hade a DOD pedal last more than a year without problems.
