  • This is a great, overall distortion pedal for any noise set-up. The distortion is above average and the BOOST feature is really nice to kick it up a notch! Comparable to DOD's Overdrive pedal, but a bit more metallic sounding. I'm sure a few of these together would kick major butt, but it's also nice to couple with other distortions for color. A recommended pedal for your set-up.
  • Good Points: sturdy DOD construction, BOOST function, readily available, inexpensive (esp used)
  • Bad Points: NONE!

  • deffinately some good distortion here. if you want what the previous reviewers said, then thats what youll get. it brings some nice color to a feedback loop...bitter and fizzy.
  • Good Points: generally one of the cheaper dods on ebay since they are so common.
  • Bad Points: none really...

  • This was a nice surprise. I did expect a quite mediocre distortion when I got this in a bundle with other DOD pedals. Hey I was wrong, this is really viciuous in a chain of effects as it kicks in with some harsh, warm and fizzing distortion. It can be used to really get some kick in the noise.
  • Good Points: Good kick. Easy to use. No silly name this time, thanks DOD:)
  • Bad Points: No real range of sound.
  • Price Paid: US$30.00

  • A fairly standard distortion with standard simple controls. This is somewhat comparable to the Boss DS-1 Distortion pedals, with perhaps a little more kick. This pedal is more usefull in a noise type setting, as the distortion has more of a razor-like sound than a warm one.
  • Good Points: Super easy to use and dial up a good tone. Works fine on noise and guitar. Warmer than some distortions you might find. Good heavy cased construction...but...
  • Bad Points: The tops of the knobs fall off! Even if you are good to them! Also the inputs get a little "rattley" after you pull out your plugs after some time.
  • Price Paid: US$50.00
