Electro Harmonix Crying Muff Fuzz
The Electro Harmonix Crying Muff Fuzz combines a wah pedal and a fuzz circuit in a single enclosure, with the wah sweep controlled by a rocker pedal that also serves as the fuzz's on/off switch when rocked forward. The fuzz section is based on the classic Big Muff Pi topology, providing a thick, sustained distortion with a dedicated volume control to set the output level. The wah section uses a potentiometer driven by the treadle to sweep a band-pass filter, producing the characteristic vowel-like "cry" effect. When the treadle is rocked back, the wah is bypassed and the fuzz remains active, allowing the user to switch between clean wah and fuzz tones without a separate footswitch. The pedal requires a standard 9V DC power supply and has a single input and output jack for mono operation.
