Electro Harmonix Memory Man
The Electro Harmonix Memory Man is an analog delay pedal that uses a bucket-brigade device to create its echo effect. Its Delay Time control sets the spacing between the original signal and the repeats, ranging from short slapback to longer echoes. Feedback controls the number of repeats, with higher settings producing more sustained, self-oscillating echoes. Blend mixes the dry guitar signal with the delayed signal, allowing for subtle doubling or pronounced repeats. The pedal features a dedicated Chorus/Vibrato section with Rate and Depth controls that modulate the delayed signal, adding movement or pitch warble to the repeats. An internal trim pot adjusts the input level to match the guitar's output, preventing distortion. The Memory Man operates on a standard 9V power supply and includes both input and output jacks for mono operation.
