  • Does what it says on the tin, folks. One switch, one knob and one effect, i.e. boosting the bass frequencies of whatever signal you feed into it. Past three o' clock the pedal also begins to overdrive, which is nice. Rather frustratingly, there is no seperate volume control, so turning down the effect also quietens your signal (although turning it right down can lead to nice signal-death oscillations). In my floop it turns any high-pitched squeals into bassy roars and so (especially when you consider the price) will always have a place there. Overall, great pedal, just don't expect miracles.
  • Good Points: Very cheap - Boosts bass signals - Adds grit - Experimentation with settings and chain position can yield interesting results.
  • Bad Points: One trick pony - NO SEPERATE VOLUME CONTROL! - Muddy on the higher settings - Not to everyone's taste.
  • Price Paid: US$45.00
