If you have a good valve amp this works as an overdrive in it's own right. It also retains signal strength if you have a giant pedal board. Also it's a bargain!

There are more reviews of this item to be found in the Electro Harmonix Linear Power Booster LPB-1 section. In short, it's a good, cheap boost pedal. It's revitalized two fuzz and distortion pedals that I was a bit bored with.
Good Points: Enhances other fuzz and distortion pedals. Cheap.
Bad Points: The same small amount of buzz that seemingly all EH nano pedals produce.
