  • I have the new "Nano" Switchblade. It's a good cheap and cheerful piece of kit. I run both outputs of a "Boss DD-5" (stereo out/mono out) into it so I can flick in between live which is only a slight change unless I use 2. The in/out is opposite to "Boss" Pedals so I run it upside down. The thing is it's also passive so it works right out the box. You can use it just for an easier stage show, for switching amps/guitars/pedals or use it as a bypass to tune.
  • Good Points: Passive, Would survive a nuclear holocaust, True Bypass
  • Bad Points: A/B Only not A/B/Y
  • Price Paid: US$32.00
  • Purchased At: Ebay

  • Mine is the "nano" reissue of this pedal. Useful for cutting between two sound sources abruptly. Useful for sharing a channel between two sound sources when you have limited inputs on your mixing board.
  • Good Points: Cheap, compact, no power required.
  • Bad Points: Only an A/B pedal, not an A/B/Y.
  • Price Paid: US$35.00
