Foxx Wa & Volume
The Foxx Wa & Volume combines a wah and a volume pedal in a single enclosure, letting a player switch between the two functions without adding another unit to the chain. The wah section uses a sweepable filter that is controlled by the rocker pedal; rocking the pedal forward and back changes the filter's center frequency, producing the characteristic "wah" effect by emphasizing different parts of the guitar's frequency spectrum as the pedal moves. The volume section acts as a passive volume control, also operated by the rocker pedal, which adjusts the overall output level from the pedal. A switch on the unit selects between wah and volume modes, so the same foot movement either sweeps the filter or changes the loudness. The pedal is designed for use with electric guitar and requires no power supply for the volume function, though the wah circuit may need power depending on the specific version. The unit typically has input and output jacks for mono connection, and its construction is built for floor use with a treadle mechanism.

- I love vintage gear. This pedal is no exception. I think it is the smoothest i have heard. Mine is an early model i think and has def seen the road. Still hot mojo.
- Good Points: Nice to have a "2 fer" and get the wa and volume. The volume side did take some getting used as the volume on mine works backwards - heal down is volume up and to down is volume down. I wonder if that mod was done after market to some previous owners spec or if it was an accident.
- Bad Points: The reverse volume
- Price Paid: US$99.00
