Ibanez Compressor CP5

Ibanez Compressor CP5

Compressor stompboxes are probably the most misunderstood pedals, because they don't "change" tone like a distortion or flanger. But what they do is maybe even more important: balancing response, providing clarity and punch at any volume, and smoothing out sustain-all of which the CP5 does quite well.

  • i have had no luck trying to do anything with this piece of crap. it just sits there in my setup and it does'nt really affect the signal. there's a little sustain, when your using a stringed instrument, but nothing usable.if you like buying something to smash for like , this certainly is your item. compressors can't be bent either, maybe i'll try bending it with a distortion or phaser and see what i get.
