Ibanez L.A. Metal LM7
The Ibanez L.A. Metal LM7 is a distortion pedal designed to produce a heavily saturated, aggressive gain character. Its controls include Drive, which sets the amount of distortion, and Level, which adjusts the output volume. A three-band EQ section—Bass, Mid, and Treble—shapes the tonal balance, allowing the user to cut or boost specific frequency ranges. The pedal's distortion is voiced to deliver a tight, modern metal tone, with the Mid control particularly useful for scooping or emphasizing presence. The LM7 features a true bypass switching system, ensuring that when the effect is disengaged, the guitar signal passes through unaffected. It operates on a standard 9V DC power supply, with no battery compartment, and is housed in a compact, durable chassis suitable for pedalboards.

- the cheapness is the main thing it has going for it. the sound quality leeds somthing to be desired but it is incredably easy to use.
- Good Points: good back up pedal to my boss overdrive. always there.
- Bad Points: goes through bats pretty quickly and the tone is weak.

- fairly straight up metallic sound, shiny silver box it's an o.k. distortion, i'd put it in the mid section of distortions above the crap like roktek and rouge even above the 55 series of dod but all their other distortions are amazing. i seriously can't say this enough, for the price you pay dod's distortion pedals are god.
- Good Points: great ibanez construction
- Bad Points: too much cock not enough balls...
- Price Paid: US$20.00
