The CS9 has 2 knobs: Speed and width. One input, 2 outputs. This chorus effect uses a small time delay that is varied to produce a slight pitch bend. When the delay signal is mixed with the input (dry) signal the resultant sound moves with a rich, thick undulation. This is the effect of multiple voices playing in unison with a fantastic, shimmery chorus sound . The sweep and width controls allow you to illicit slow, wide-ranging sweeps or a more rapid vibrato. There is a second output jack that allows you to run a line to a second amp.

- A simple pedal, with the two knobs show. Nice for more ambient sounds and works well to generate some movement in a loop. May give the stereo sound you're looking for but for balls-out harsh noise this thing is a little on the wimpy side. Haven't cracked it open yet to see what I can tweak though.

- A quality pedal. Perfect for a feedback loop or to split a signal. I find it is better used after distortion rather than before it. It can give sounds an almost metallic quality.
- Good Points: Good sound. Batteries last forever in this pedal.
- Bad Points: Not a big variety of sound shaping.
