  • I have had three of these at different times since they came out. There are some gems in this little box. But i got rid of them cause the low volume everyone was talking about. The loops are fucking fantastic. If you need glitched out looping its a must have peice of hardware.
  • Good Points: Decent effects. Awesome realtime looping. Getting cheaper. Easy to find.
  • Bad Points: Volume drop. Volume in general seems low on this unit. Its the kind of fx you run at the end of everything but sucks cuz its just so much lower than the og signal.

  • An interesting small box full of effects. Most are, off course, somewhat similar but in the end there are lots of usable things on it anyway. The fun part of it is the touchpad with X & Y axxis control, which unfortunately only has 8 steps in both directions.
  • Good Points: -Small -Works both on batteries and power supply -Lots of effects -XY axxis goodness!
  • Bad Points: -No cables or power supply included with the thing -Volume drop -Not all that sensitive, 8 steps on X and 8 steps on Y -Makes you want to get a bigger Kaoss Pad straight away

  • This is a very cool toy. Whether its mixing an Ipod live, Remixing songs or playing live it's awesome. I do recommend when using with guitar that you get some kin of Graphic EQ because this thing cuts volume like a biznatch. Effects 84-99 Don't need a signal so they can be run through just an output but all the others need a signal. You can get some really cool stuff out of this but it takes practice. As for installing it in a guitar that's way over my head. I was really annoyed when the line in/out cables weren't included with the high price. These work well with infinite sustain pickups so you have a free hand.
  • Good Points: 99 inventive Effects Controllable BPM Multiple Uses Pocket Size
  • Bad Points: Cuts Volume Line in/out not included Takes alot of practise Uses alot of expensive cables.

  • See review.
  • Good Points: Beyond what's written in the press release... Some patches are very useful for noise. Random LFO, "infinite" lfo filters, ring mods, backwards delays, decimators, infinite repeats, and broken modulator. Broken modulator is my favorite patch so far. The fuzz is decent, as good as you'll get from Boss. Splicers, grain shifters, and pitch shifters all compliment any setup. Runs on batteries.
  • Bad Points: No real sampling, just catch and hold repeating. Small screen.
