Maxon Distortion PDS1
The Maxon PDS1 Distortion pedal uses a hard-clipping circuit to generate its gain, with a Distortion control that sets the amount of overdrive by adjusting the input level into the clipping stage. A Tone control filters the distorted signal, shifting the high-frequency content from dark to bright, while the Level knob adjusts the output volume to match or boost the bypassed signal.
