- Nice little compressor! A little basic (Only an output and a sharpness control), but it does the job. It took me a while to find the right place in my floop for it as in an incorrect position it just becomes a hideous volume vampire. However, with practice I was able to massively boost volume and balance out any unwanted volume boosts when engaging other pedals. The best thing about this pedal is the sharpness dial; in a noise loop it becomes a horrible "harshness" control, compressing the signal, but making it abrasive too.
- Good Points: Cheap - Sturdy - Foolproof - Does the job.
- Bad Points: A bit of a learning curve - More dials would be nice - Can drain volume rather than boost it (if you are a compression n00b anyway).
- Price Paid: US$80.00
