PSK Flanger FLG-3
The PSK FLG-3 flanger pedal generates its sweeping comb-filter effect by mixing the dry signal with a delayed copy whose delay time is modulated by an internal low-frequency oscillator. A Rate control sets the speed of that modulation sweep, while Depth adjusts how far the delay time swings, making the effect more or less pronounced. The pedal also includes a manual delay-time control that shifts the center of the sweep, altering the character of the flanging from a subtle shimmer to a more metallic, jet-like tone. A Feedback control regenerates part of the delayed signal back into the input, increasing the intensity and resonance of the notches in the frequency response. The FLG-3 operates in mono, with a single input and output, and is powered by a standard 9-volt DC adapter or battery. Its bypass switch routes the signal to the output without processing when disengaged, preserving the dry tone when the effect is off.
