  • yes this is a really cheap pedal, and unless your perpetually drunk, if you read these reviews and buy one anyway.(that's my story)butyou can do some neat things with it. i did not expierence a volume drop, i just could'nt pass a recognizeable signal! so i tried this within the loop of my 20b and with the tone all the way down and the level and distortion all the way up, i got a neat excitebike type source sound, which is really cool um...once or twice. if you really want to waste the money just send it to me.

  • This pedal is very, very cheap and as such rather bad. You get a level, tone and gain knobs, but there is little variation in sound. The distortion itself is not really distortion but rather very ugly fuzz that sounds awful if you use it any way but as a vocal effect or with certain other effect feedback, i.e. phasers, and then only certain ones. That said, if you mess with it for a while you can get a nice ugly, harsh buzzing tone that does work in some setups, though it can be accomplished ten times better by most other distortion pedals. Overall, this isn't worth buying, unless you're on a VERY strict budget and are using a multi-effects pedal as a synthesizer or something (like I used to...). Go with something else.
  • Good Points: Extremely cheap, good for getting an ugly fuzz tone if that's what you're after (and I know how some of you bedroom noisicians work, so that might be what you're looking for), good construction.
  • Bad Points: By itself, it sounds pretty bad. Invest in something better if you want good distortion.

  • this pedal sucks by itself. instead of a standard distortion it gives you a sickly buzz, and it it kills alot of volume from your signal. now coupled with a couple of other distotions (esp. one with a presence knob) it really shines...if you want a little extra buzzy strength to the sound it will do this and do this well. you know those volume problems, well it works great as a nice volume drop, to dynamics to your walls of noise/vocals. so all in all you have to really play arounf with this piece of shit to really get it do something interesting.
  • Good Points: its cheap. even buying it new, ive seen them going for .00.
  • Bad Points: plastic, volume sucker, crapy distortion sound, made by rogue (whichin itself should be a reason to stay away, but i like to give these things a chance sometimes).
