Trace Elliot Equalizer SM7
The Trace Elliot SM7 is a graphic equalizer pedal with seven vertical faders, each controlling a fixed frequency band. Moving a fader up boosts that frequency range, while moving it down cuts it, allowing the user to shape the overall tonal balance of the signal passing through. The pedal is designed for use with bass guitar, and its effect is applied to the entire signal when engaged. It features a bypass switch to route the signal around the equalizer circuit when not in use, preserving the unaffected tone. The SM7 operates on a standard 9V power supply, and its compact pedal format is intended for placement on a pedalboard.

- I loved playing with this pedal, when I still had it. It's essentially the eq section of their more popular bass heads in a pedal form. I used the PRESET 1 setting the most, which brings out the 'classic' Trace Elliot sound. The faders are easy to see on a darkened stage and provide a plethora of tonal opportunities, from subtle to extreme. I wish I still had it around to use for noise applications and would pick another one up, if the price was right.
