The Yamaha DSC-20M Digital Stereo Chorus is a compact pedal that generates a stereo chorus effect from a mono input. Its Depth control sets the intensity of the pitch modulation, while Speed adjusts the rate of the sweeping modulation. A dedicated Level knob blends the dry signal with the effected signal, allowing for subtle thickening or pronounced chorusing. The pedal outputs to two separate jacks, creating a wide stereo image when both are connected to an amplifier or mixer; using only one output yields a mono signal. A mode switch offers different chorus voicings, altering the character of the modulation from subtle to more pronounced. The pedal is powered by a standard 9V DC adapter or a battery, and it features a bypass switch that routes the input directly to the outputs when engaged, preserving the dry signal without coloration.

  • This is a really good sounding chorus unit, at the same level has Boss chorus units (Super Chorus and Chorus Ensemble) but for a more reasonable price. please contact me if you have this unit because mine has suffered an accident and I need a description of the wire connection in the output B to fix it. Thanks Tiagotigre@hotmail.com
  • Good Points: Deep Sound, Textures, nice leslie effect
  • Bad Points: It's vrey simple - Lacks the multifunctions options of modern chorus units
