- I am a phase head, i love phase modulation...this box lets me down...i hate it...it sounds like ass...its full of hiss and has significant signal drop. But i have heard some people don't have this problem. I suspect there was low quality control on the mods line.

- I never really wanted a phaser, but saw this one and decided 'what the hey'...I actually wanted a Filter one of these but it was sold out.This one has a fair array of settings, I usually use the 'Liquid Metal' one (horrible name),but it's not a favoured piece of kit for me.
- Good Points: Decent amount of settings. Designed for tabletop use. Stereo ins/outs
- Bad Points: Phaser just isn't Harsh Noise now, is it?

- I bought this on impulse for 400 sek, to add in my behr mic100-frequenzy analizer-chaep dist feedback loop, and it's kicking for that use. The pattern mode is awsome, it makes some really neat attacks that will work well with what I'm up to. I bought it mainly for the sake of having modulation in the feedback loop, and for the test round I did yesterday it seems like this will work, but I still need alot of time to get it *right*. as with all feedback related stuff.
- Good Points: alot of random posibillities. level on the back (the knob kindo sucks though, but its there..) both negative/positive feedback stereo!!
- Bad Points: no midi seemingly hard to make nice passages, when you twist something the whole soung changes (to cite the beatles; "we can work it out, yeah yeah")

- I picked this up at a Sam Ash Closeout sale. I've tested it out and i think it sounds like most other phasers that i've used before. The classic mode is supposed to emulate the mutron bi-phase and mxr phase 90. I've never used either so i don't know how this compares. I thought it sounded ok. Again as with the other modfx units i love the tap tempo and pattern modulation mode. Using this combination with any of the phase types and some tweaking can come up with some cool sounds.

- Pretty digital sounding, but fairly clean on the flipside. I like the stereo operation a lot. This is a phaser, so, yes, it sounds like a phaser. I didn't buy expecting otherwise, so I wasn't disappointed like the other reviewers. What it does it generally does well. Because the phasing is rather clean, at certain points it lacks the low-end that some analog phasers add.
- Good Points: Stereo operation with lots of options. Can get very fast for some synth-like phasing that many pedals don't touch.
- Bad Points: Pretty digital. Construction.

- I picked this up as an impulse buy recently becuase it was on clearance. I have to agree with the other reviwer who rated most of the sounds as average. Still, there are a couple of settings that can provide odd, metallic textures and the results in a feedback loop can be absolutely stunning IMHO if you turn the knobs correctly.
- Good Points: Wicked grinding metal shrieks are possible in a feedback loop (and can be accentuated with the inclusion of a cheap fuzz or two).
- Bad Points: This may or may not be a turn off for some, but there is noticeable hissy static (maybe faint self-oscillation?) when the unit is engaged.

- I was seriously hoping for a phase effect which didn't sound like a typical phase effect, and to a large degree I've been disappointed... pretty much the standard "swooshy" phaser sound, though with variations from standard, a couple of stereo versions, and "liquid metal", which I had hope for, but really soundslike a more deep, intense phase. Use of the modulation section can add usefulness to the unit, especially the tap-tempo function (higher rates tend to work better) in concert with the uncertainty or pattern waveforms. Input sound source seems to make a huge difference as well, an intermitent signal with a sharp attack will produce good results, and having the unit set to "liquid metal" can give chorused or even pitch-shifted sounding effects. For more constant signals I find something really bass-heavy works best, run through a Meatbox or other octave device prior to the Faze, which will then add some dimension to the sound while the input signal itself tends to wash out some of the "phasiness".
- Good Points: various phase types available, modulation section, tap tempo, dual ins and outs
- Bad Points: it's still a phaser, jacks backwards compared to other pedals - ins on the left, outs on the right, no options for batteries 800mA power adaptor

- ill be the first to admit that i havent heard every single phase box out on the market...but this deffinately has great number of phase sounds and it will pull that metallic clang sound that my dod likes to give me. my personal fave is the liquid metal which seems to add almost chorusing effect to the sound. also notable is the modulation section with a good envelope and pattern setting and for a little extra chaos...uncertainty. as with the other three of this line that i own, it has a nice little trim knob so a loss of signal is never a problem...and its true bypass switching is ever so quiet...
- Good Points: meant for a table nice ruberized knobs that have a good range a lot of useful sounds good price
- Bad Points: a little on the plasticy side but it was never meant to be stepped upon...
