Behringer Distortion-x XD300

This is the same crappy color as that MEGA DISTORTION from boss. Piss orange. This is not a bad distortion, it pretty much doesn't have an EQ , it has the contour and punch knobs. The contour knob kind of smooths out the sound when you have it more to the right. I keep it in the left for rougher metallic sounds. The punch knob is more like a tone knob. Adds some bottom to the sound when all the way to the right. As always with Behringer pedals ....cheap for what they describe as a Thrash metal distortion. I would put this more in the generic Heavy metal distortion pile , it's pretty ripping but not nearly as mind blowing as the Ultra Metal 300.
Good Points: Good distortion, raspy, crunchy not exceptionally brutal. Funky contour knob...that knob really fucks with the sound. Puke orange bones cheap, cheap ,cheap....
Bad Points: Plastic Distortion could have been a little more septic Behringer...... Puke orange
