  • I got this thing for only 60 bucks after shipping on eBay, and while it's my first foray into mixers applicable for noise, I have to say I'm pretty happy with it! In comparison to giant beast mixing boards, it's easy to keep track of where everything is - the EQ has a noticeable effect on anything running through a channel (though Mics more notably than anything else), and it is capable of producing growling bass tones from mere speech and a dynamic microphone. Does feedback loops without a hitch, and with the proper adjustments to the main volume control, can make a simple floop sound better without even touching any of the other controls! By setting one channel to clip slightly before the other, a delightful screech is appended to any sound in the floop. Microphone pre-amp works wonderfully - all in all, everything you'd ever want in a noisy mixer! My only complaint would be that the channel panning is a little iffy - the left channel seems to be slightly louder than the right when the pan knob is at default. in the long run, however, this is a minor concern, and easily avoidable by tweaking the pan knob a little to the right.
  • Good Points: -Cheap -Powerful EQ -Good mic pre-amp -2 stereo inputs, mono inputs, and 2 mic inputs -Handles loud noisy things without a hitch! -Fun for feedback loops
  • Bad Points: -Proprietary power supply plug-in design (what's up with that?) -Behringer's lingering bad reputation -No preamp for condenser microphones -Knobs look a little wimpy -Slight off-set in panning (could just be my model)
  • Price Paid: US$60.00
