  • This is the closest to Marshall-in-a-pedal I've ever heard. Into a loud clean amp, it sounds more like a real Marshall than most Marshalls.
  • Good Points: Fabulous, natural-sounding overdrive. Not fizzy at all. Extremely responsive to picking technique. Lets the natural tone of your guitar through. Friendly with downstream pedals. Hands-down the best construction quality I've ever seen in a pedal, boutique or otherwise.
  • Bad Points: Does not get along well with already-dirty amps - wants the amp to be clean. Really wants to be the first device in your signal chain (interacts with your pickups). Expensive. Highlights anything wrong with your guitar or your technique.
  • Price Paid: US$235.00
