  • this little red box is awesome! i bought this to create loops out of the pedals in my chain, but i think im going to start using it as a sound source as well. it may be pricey, but its the cheapest looper pedal there is, and it gets the job done. fill it with some long loops and some short loops for variety. layer your loops, or just go bare-bones. you can also delete the last overdub you put in by holding down the footswitch in Overdub Record mode. such a super-versatile pedal. i can see how it would be easy to become too reliant on this
  • Good Points: + Same thing as the RC-20 but cheaper and with no "Stop" footswitch + 11 spots for loops, 16 minutes of recording/overdub time + Small and compact
  • Bad Points: - no XLR input - no stereo out - a little hard to navigate on the fly - you have to press down on the pedal twice once a loop is playing to stop it. to avoid this, hook up a footswitch to the stop/tempo jack. - annoying "Drums" knob that you have to keep at 0 at all times.
