Budda Bud-Wah Plus

Budda Bud-Wah Plus

The Budda Bud-Wah Plus combines a wah pedal with a boost circuit in a single enclosure. The wah section uses a rocker pedal to sweep a band-pass filter across the frequency spectrum, producing the classic vowel-like "wah" effect as the pedal is rocked forward and back. A separate boost control sets the amount of additional gain applied to the signal when the boost function is engaged, which can push an amplifier into overdrive or increase the volume for solos. The wah and boost can be activated independently or together, allowing the boost to be used without the wah effect. The pedal is designed for use with electric guitar and requires a standard 9V DC power supply.

Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price: $225.00

  • In a word? Wow. I am extremely fussy over Wah pedals and have been to Jim Dunlop, Morely, Danelectro and I have stopped at Budda. This thing is sick! With a coil conductor based on the "Fazel" (Found in original Crybaby's) but with more power it really is the most vocal wah I have ever used - Not to mention the nicest to use. There is a limited lifetime warranty with this which says alot in its own. Every position on this wah can be used to great extend. There is no jump from low to high it is just fluid all the way through. I play hard stoner-esque noise rock and this really works. It doesn't hiss and it doesn't squeal it just sings!
  • Good Points: True Bypass. Limited Lifetime Warranty. Heavy Duty Housing + Switch. Silent Operation. Fluid Sweep.
  • Bad Points: Horrible Lilac Colour.
