DeArmond Weeper
The DeArmond Weeper is a wah pedal that uses a treadle to sweep a band-pass filter across the frequency spectrum. Rocking the pedal forward raises the filter's center frequency, producing a brighter, more piercing tone, while rocking it back lowers the frequency for a darker, muffled sound. The pedal's effect is engaged and bypassed by stepping on the treadle's toe switch, which also serves to activate the filter sweep. The Weeper's circuit is based on the classic inductor-based wah design, giving it a vocal-like, resonant quality as the filter moves. It features a single input and output jack for mono operation, and it is powered by a standard 9-volt battery, which is accessed by removing the bottom plate. The treadle's travel is smooth and continuous, allowing for precise control over the wah effect's position, from subtle tonal shifts to dramatic sweeps.

- This is a unique sounding wah it tends to accelerate fast in the treble side. I am very pleased with it you can make some funky wacka wacka sounds and some subtler sounds. It works realy nicely with low octave devices in front of it almost like an extreme eq syth kind of noise.
- Good Points: Not many people have 'em. I've own two cry babies and they sound plain or not so alive this one i like and it was cheap .
- Bad Points: The casing sucks real wippy I'm thinking about getting an ernie ball volume pedal gutting it and throwing this case in the trash, or I will just take care of my shit. At the top of the sweep it seems the wah sound could go a bit further if lean your foot away from the left where the switch is located but this could probably be adjusted.
