  • My big test for modulation effects is usually how they interact inbetween a self-oscillating distortion (Typically my Boss Xtortion) and my Sirkut Electronics Gnarler. This pedal deffinitley creates some unique "Atari glitching" patterns... My version of the pedal has the more "modern" DOD logo as opposed to the older one shown, but I don't know that it makes any difference.
  • Good Points: Sturdy, classic DOD-style pedal, which I really like personally-- a light slap is all it takes to engage. Nice alternative to standard chorus. FEEDBACK LOOP STARTER.
  • Bad Points: Damn those loose nuts and knobcaps! Even if it does have some functionality, it's still a chorus, so it's not going to have any HUUUUUGE variety of uses for Harsh Noise. Muffles your high-end some depending on where it's placed...

  • on it's own in your chain, you can count on great bass response from this pedal but your highs...go bye, bye. however coupled with a decent distortion, you can get some fairly decent synth style tones. this is certainly one of the better dod chorus following a second in my opinion to the ice box.
  • Good Points: ease of use, great sound, feedbak loop starter
  • Bad Points: dod's main complaints(dodgy switch...

  • One of my first pedals and the most reliable. It always sounded so much better than other bass choruses made around the same time. A bargain if you can still find one!
  • Good Points: solid DOD construction, all 3 knobs are fun to tweak for noise applications, wet/dry outputs
  • Bad Points: none
