User Reviews of the DOD Integrated Tube Distortion FX100

This thing is actually pretty amazing for what it is. A very unique overdrive that isn't warm and heavy, but rather brittle and crunchy. The Amp simulator out smooths out the tone, but it's still pretty nasty. I've managed to get some nice tinny fuzz with this and a Big Muff... definately has it's uses.
Good Points: Amp sim out, and direct out for more versatility.
Bad Points: Bass and High tone knobs could be more dynamic.

Pretty boring. It's was also
labeled the "Even Harmonic Overdrive" like the model I have. I can only assume it's supposed to sound like a proco rat.
It's not very loud, and doesnt
have much clarity at high gain.
I doubt many people interested in noise would find it useful. I bought it along with a couple of other dod's at the same time, and this one is the only one that never gets used.
It does have two outputs, one of which the docs would have you belive is of higher impedance, but couldnt tell any
difference myself.

i was told this pedal made some crazy sounds and personally i don't know what they were talking about. the distortion was too warm for my blood and it seemed not to have a very good output volume. the only thing that i like about the pedal was the fact you have two outputs, one the goes to your amp and one for the mixer or another amp. unforunately i didn't get to try that. maybe that would of changed my opinion some what. good idea. it did have some nice distortion if you like a tube like warm sound.
