  • For the most part, this is a standard phasor pedal. It makes your signal sound all swooshy. What makes it different than other phasors is that the speed it cycles at can be set to a very high rate. I tend to run a distorted, high frequency sound into it followed by a delay, a fast square wave tremelo, another delay, and a band pass filter. It cycles fast enough that when the sounds it makes start crashing into the delays it just barely starts to take on a ring modulator sound. By the time it hits the filter it's a buzzing, snarling mess. On its own, it can be a bit run of the mill (even at high speeds), but when used with delays, and other modulation effects it shines. The rubber footswitch can be a bit more difficult that a standard DOD pedal, but it's 20 years old so I guess I shouldn't expect much...
  • Good Points: Fairly cheap. Easy to find. Will cycle very fast. Interacts well with other modulation effects.
  • Bad Points: Hard to engage the footswitch at times.
  • Price Paid: US$40.00
  • Purchased At: Real Guitars, San Francisco
