The Dredge-Tone Dredge is an overdrive pedal whose gain structure is shaped by a three-band EQ section, allowing the user to tailor the drive character beyond a single tone knob. Its drive control sets the amount of clipping and saturation, while the level control adjusts the output volume to balance against the amp's clean or driven sound. The EQ bands independently boost or cut low, mid, and high frequencies, which changes how the overdrive interacts with the guitar's pickups and the amplifier's response. A true bypass footswitch routes the signal directly to the output when disengaged, preserving the unaffected tone. The pedal operates on standard 9V DC power, with a typical current draw suitable for most pedalboard supplies.
