  • A funky little pedal. Windy and highpass frequency. Works best early in a pedal chain.
  • Good Points: At the right tones, some cool sounds.
  • Bad Points: Minimal controls.

  • I have the mini version of this, but it seems to do the same thing.
  • Good Points: Works best in a loop with other mods/filters in it. It can give you nice pitch control and I've got a nice stuttering sound when the range is turned all the way down. Bass switch is also fun to play with to create a sudden swelling.
  • Bad Points: Outside of a loop, you can lose some volume and have a hard time finding a use for it.

  • Very simple controls i range knob and one bass switch. i use mine after a bigmuff or another high gain distortion then take that into a small stone then either a treble/bass booster or a graphic equalizer...basically the louder the signal the better the reaction. but, in my setup i use it to add a nasty/disgusting slurrrp to my signal. Definately a worthwhile pedal to own. especially if you don't already have an envelope follower.
  • Good Points: easy to use, wicked sounds
  • Bad Points: i don't like paying above 25 for pedals definately will set you back more but well worth it in my opinion...

  • Wayne let the World's BEST KEPT SECRET out!!! This is a phenomenal pedal - simply addictive! Mine's out of action at the moment - hence my visit to the site Miss it's exotic sounds more than Christmas (or Thanksgiving) Dinner ..Dion
  • Good Points: So damned versatile you'll love it (in comparison with many effects)
  • Bad Points: None except when you run out of battery power or adapter power
  • Price Paid: US$80.00

  • Quite minimalistic, range knob seems to be useful between 6 o'clock & 9 o'clock after that it sounds like a wind effect off an old analog synth. works better with single coils as far as guitar is concerned and would probably benefit from an input booster before it in the FX chain. More usefull as a "tone-shaper" than for auto-wah uses.
  • Good Points: Small, relatively cheap, battery seems to last forever, unpredictable and can throw up some surprises.
  • Bad Points: Limited, not easy to get on with and unpredictable. No instant wow! factor.
  • Price Paid: US$110.00

  • Frustrating pedal. But from boundary blooms creativity. The concept of an envelope follower with one control and a mix switch is obviously putting the pocketbook before functionality. It works well if you throw the right signal at it. I would imagine drum machines or anything percussive would be best. However, contrary to my predictions, it is actually quite useful in a noise loop. If get the right level into it, and i turn the rate on every time-based pedal down to minimum, this thing sounds like a post-nuclear playground.
  • Good Points: Cheap, small, batteries have lasted for quite a while. unpredictable. Plays well with others.
  • Bad Points: very little control. the mix switch is pretty much worthless if you ask me.
