  • i use this pedal on my circuit bent toys all the time. I love the reverbs but have yet to find a use for the flerb setting. While there is only one knob and thus no ability to modify the parameters of the pedal, i love it. I have a bit of a soft spot for EH pedals in my heart and the holy grail is no exception.
  • Good Points: quick useable "plug and play" reverb
  • Bad Points: flerb setting is pretty useless IMHO no real modifiable parameters

  • Small basic pedal that is great for high frequencies but has a severe tone/sound loss for lows. This thing couldn't take the lows that my TC-Electronics M-One could. Spring setting is nice and subtle, Hall is big and boomy, Flerb is pretty lame sounding. It seems as the reverb level is cranked up the dry signal is greatly cut out resulting in some interesting "pre-delay" type sounds. Overall a decent pedal but I think I'll stick with the M-One.
  • Good Points: Small, bonehead simple use, sturdy switching, if bought new it comes with the power supply.
  • Bad Points: Can't really take low frequencies well (modding the filtering might fix that). Flerb setting is a waste. Spring setting could be a bit more powerful, like an old Fender amp.

  • So easy to use. You can get just a hint of reverb to a full on super deep, all encompasing hall sound. The flerb setting is kind of interesting, but a little bit tacky to be honest. The hall setting is my favorite but can easily overwhelm the sounds you feed into it..the room setting is good for a more mild reverb.
  • Good Points: cheap, great sounds, solid enclosure. plenty of reverb to go around.
  • Bad Points: can overwhelm sounds put through it..just watch yr level knob.

  • This pedal is very very cool. The spring setting is subtle, I use it on vocals often(contact mic'd throat). The flerb is blah blah blah, useless on almost everything, it's just the spring reverb but it flanges the reverb; you can't adjust the flange. The hall setting, however, is the real strength here. It's huge and epic and turns everything into a hurricane swirl. It's marvelous, really. In a floop it self-oscillates nicely. I'd recommend this as a good, reliable reverb.
  • Good Points: Can be subtle or epic. Nice sound.
  • Bad Points: Useless flerb, but that doesn't really take away anything. Very specific adapter needed (comes with the thing).

  • Probably my favorite pedal all-around due to the fact that it sounds great with EVERYTHING. It can make simple contact mic & metal noise sound like a garbage can being thrown down a concrete staircase in a parking garage. Works wonders with high pitched oscillating frequencies. My favorite configuration is to put it after my Sirkut SNB in a chain but honestly it rules anywhere.
  • Good Points: Pretty damn easy to use; one knob and a switch. Always sounds great. Comes with a power supply.
  • Bad Points: A bit expensive. You'll probably be torn on to where / when to use it. Stomp switch is a bit stiff & can give off a pretty audible click / explosion when being used with a cranked distortion. Well, this can actually be pretty fucking cool, unless you're trying to be subtle.

  • Pretty basic reverb pedal really, just a footswitch, a knob to control the amount of the effect and a switch to toggle between modes. I tend to use it either for adding reverb to heavily distorted vocal chants (for which I use the 'Hall' setting), or for adding a slight reverb to the entire output from the mixer (for which I use the 'spring' setting. Not too much though, it's easy to go overboard!) Flerb setting is rubbish, in my opinion. The other two settings are fantastic though! The knob came loose once, but that was easy enough to fix. And I managed to find one pretty cheaply too!
  • Good Points: - Spring and Hall settings are fantastic. - Very simple and easy to use.
  • Bad Points: - Everything about the Flerb setting. - Like a lot of EHX stuff it feels a little on the fragile side.

  • this has got to be one of the best reverbs out there. I got it with my christmas money and this thing kills in a loop. With the Hall setting it creates this thick wall of impenetrable noise. The spring setting is also very useful. The Hall setting is massive and makes everything sound a lot lighter. It's very simple and comes with a power source, plus it is sturdy and looks nice. If you want to add that extra punch and depth to your loop, look no further, this thing has the potential to sound heavenly and subtle or it can send everything to hell, if it's with the proper pedals. The flurb could be used with something else but it doesn't work with noise.
  • Good Points: Sounds amazing MASSIVE Hall sound Simple Comes with a power supply looks nice can be subtle or make everything hellish sturdy
  • Bad Points: nothing at all

  • If you're going for a compact reverb, it doesn't get any better than this, especially for the money. The Hall sounds great and is just so amazingly transparent, it's worth leaving on for extended lengths of time. The Flerb is cool, but you're only likely to ever get use out of it on one song, since it's pretty unique.
  • Good Points: Sturdy. Sounds good. Cheap.
  • Bad Points: No knob for adjusting length. Which means that if you put this in a parallel effects loop, you have to turn the reverb knob all the way up to kill your original sound, but you can only bet that super long reverb sound.

  • Spring, Hall, Flerb. Reverb knob. As said by every review so far, the Hall setting is the reason to pick this up. It really does sound better than any of the Boss reverbs. I personally don't care for the Spring setting. Then the Flerb setting (my guess is flange+reverb=flerb) is essentially a warbling reverb. I've actually found a few uses for it, not in a chain, and with the knob set way back. Great pedal.

  • I own the one Jason purchased, you can see his review below mine. Very nice lush reverb. As he said the flurb is just goofy and the only two I really play with are spring and hall. Hall has a lot of body to it and that is where the switch spends most of the time on.
  • Good Points: Fairly sturdy little unit, simple due to just 1 knob, and has a really nice reverb sound. Better than most things I've heard.
  • Bad Points: Stompswitch is so damn sturdy, really have to press down on it, of course this isn't a problem if you are a brute or playing an instrument but most pedal noise peeps might find it a little annoying if you want to switch it on and off a lot.

  • This is the only reverb I use. It's got three settings, flerb sucks except for very specialized uses, spring is cool but a little quiet and hall is very good. It has a tendency to suck some volume, but not so much to render it useless or anything. It will self oscillate but the sound isn't really desirable for me. When fed directly into itself it creates big psychedelic feedback sounds that have an 'angelic' quality, which I like. Paired with simple distortion and delay it becomes a very interesting noise tool. There's not much to say about it other than it's a good reverb. High-quality sound reproduction, probably the best pedal reverb out there.
  • Good Points: good reverb, decent build
  • Bad Points: none really, it's just a reverb...

  • This is a great reverb pedal for the coin, I have owned several rack mount units and this thing is awsome!.. The spring emulation is key - no more tostint expensive tube units or amps... All the spring you could ever want and more is iin here... Also the hall setting is HUGE great for building thoughs wall of noise sounds, real boomy... The flerb is cool, but usless for noise....
  • Good Points: Cheep... Great sounds... Replaces my tube driven spring reberb in my setup... Hall sounds HUGE!.. comes with its own adapter!.. (and a free set 'o' strings...
  • Bad Points: I wish there where more controls, but I guess that is what the holier grail is for....
