The Honda Sound Works ISO Fuzz is a fuzz pedal that uses an isolation transformer on its input to reject ground-loop hum and noise before the signal reaches the fuzz circuit. Its controls include a Fuzz knob that sets the amount of transistor-based clipping, ranging from a mild, gated breakup to a thick, saturated wall of distortion, and a Volume knob that adjusts the output level to match or boost the bypassed signal. The pedal's tone-shaping is minimal, letting the fuzz circuit's natural character dominate, and it responds dynamically to guitar volume roll-off, cleaning up when the instrument's volume is reduced. A true-bypass footswitch routes the dry signal directly to the output when disengaged, preserving the original tone when the effect is off. The ISO Fuzz operates on a standard 9V DC power supply, with no battery compartment, and its compact enclosure fits easily on a pedalboard.

- Great for noise! Breaks up the sound pretty brutally and if you put the drive knob all the way up it completely chokes the sound when it gets a loud input signal, which also sounds good. However if you find the position on the drive knob right before it chokes, the pedal comes alive and will grind anything you put through it to the finest noise. The tone knob gives you a wide palette to work with from heavy lo end /lo mid to piercing high. Now they are called 1406 and come in a blue square casing, more solid than this one.
