  • I have the xt version...but it could be the same with some extra. Well you have several nice efx, from distortions, to fuzz'es,autowah, delays (stereo,multihead,sweep,digital,analog,etc..) reverbs, multilayers etc...to select 1 per time. At the same time you can select from several amps modes - that change a lot your sound. You can work on distortion level, reverb, equalization and engadge delay (tweakable!!!),stomp and compressor. It is not the same to have 20 pedals...if someone can think at this. And it doesn't work if you put this unit at the end of the chain. But this can be a good start for everyone new at noise. This has been my first efx...ahaha! I use it sometime for vocal effects...expecially delays modes or sometimes i create a feedback loop with only this unit and then use the second out to start the chain...good result.
  • Good Points: -2 outs (feedback loop) -many nice efx and amp modes -tweakable delay when another efx is engaged -digital display -nice look -built like a tank -a good start for a beginner
  • Bad Points: -it doesn't work well with other effects pedal, so it should be put at the end of the chain

  • YOu can make some nice, gnarly sounds with this unit alone. The FUZZ setting creates the most distortion and the effects are great, although not that tweakable. I coupled this with a few pedals and got great results. I wouldn't use it as a stand alone noise-maker, but it has it's purposes.
  • Good Points: - several distortion settings - lots of nice digital effects - tweakable GAIN, CHANL VOL, EQ - nice red color - cheaper now than the new XL unit - can do deep editing thru website
  • Bad Points: - effects only tweakable with one knob - shouldn't be used as a stand alone noise maker
