MXR Phase 100

MXR Phase 100

The Phase 100 is the larger version of the Phase 90, and offers a more extensive range of sounds. In addition to a speed control there is also a four position, rotary switch that allows a choice of four different intensities. The phasing sound lies somewhere in the central two settings with the extremes offering softer and harder versions of the effect. Using these two controls you will find quite a variety of pleasing effect. The Phase-100 has ten stages of programmable phase shifting, adjustable intensity for sweep width and notch depth. Controls also provide for regeneration in 2nd and 4th position.

  • Much more in depth than the phase 90, this one has a lot more control over the overall phase sound. Lots of seriously heavy sshwooshing sounds and liquidy resonating buzz from this pedal. And as always, its like a metal brick. pretty much indestructable.
  • Good Points: very wet, metallic liquidy sounding phase. built super solid
  • Bad Points: hard to find?
  • Price Paid: US$0.00

  • Versatile pedal capable of producing full range of phase effects. IMO sounds best with the wide intensity and the slowest speed setting. Can also produce squiggly noises. General warm sounding pedal. The Áªntensity knob on mine has started to loosen up but other than that itÃÔ been completely solid for the last 27 years! Only draw back is that itÃÔ a bit hissy. Need to use a gate.
  • Good Points: Near-Rock solid build quality. Good sounding, wide range. The foot switch button is ace!
  • Bad Points: A little hissy.
  • Price Paid: US$0.00

  • Great pedal, I have the 70's model with the script logo... Well this thing is great, but I ONLY use the 4th setting - all the others are too subtle... IF you put it after a overdrive it freakes out - BIGTIME with a high gain device... This thing has some great sounds in it...
  • Good Points: Amazing sounds Orange Easy to use True Bypass (on older models) Easy on bateries
  • Bad Points: No LED or power input (on older models) EXPENSIVE... (not mine, hehehe - sucker)
  • Price Paid: US$15.00
  • Purchased At: a stupid punk kid...
