The MXR Stereo Chorus (Commande) is a chorus pedal that produces a modulated, detuned doubling effect by mixing the dry signal with a pitch-shifted copy whose delay time cycles continuously. Its primary control, Rate, sets the speed of that cycling, determining how quickly the pitch swells and recedes. Depth adjusts the amount of pitch variation, making the chorusing more or less pronounced. The pedal offers both mono and stereo outputs; using the stereo outputs creates a wider, more spacious effect by sending slightly different modulated signals to each channel. A Mix control blends the dry and effected signals, allowing for subtle thickening or a more pronounced, warbling texture. The pedal is designed for use with electric guitar or other line-level instruments and is housed in a compact, durable enclosure typical of MXR effects.
