Sirkut Electronics Devil's Horn

Sirkut Electronics Devil's Horn

Another sacrifice has been performed! The Sirkut Electronics Devil's Horn is a dropped pitched shifter that goes seven half-steps. A suprisingly large array of sounds can be had with the single knob that adjusts the frequency of how the sound is being shifted. A simple and effective tool for noise making exploits. Note: these come in a few different colors. Yours may differ from the one pictured.

  • NOTE: This review is for the PROTOTYPE version of this pedal -

Total gritty, lo-fi chaos. At certain settings I've been able to get weird 8-bit oscillations, synth whines, groans and moans and washes of fuzz. Completely obliterates and drops the pitch of anything you put into it - even at conservative settings what goes in surely isn't the same as what comes out.
  • Good Points: Simple control - there's only one! Plays well with any high gain distortions.

    Crunchy!
  • Bad Points: Not particularly useful for quiet, subtle sounds. A blend control would be nice, too.
